Hey there!
I already played Trine 3 a while ago and it wasn’t that bad. As I heard that 1 and 2 are better, I thought why not giving 2 a try? Of course, I was also looking for a quick and easy Platinum Trophy. ;-)
What is the game all about?
Trine 2 is a platformer with a few RPG elements. You take control of a mage, a thief, and a knight and you need to fight enemies and solve puzzles to complete levels. You’ll also gain experience points, which will allow you to upgrade your characters. Upgraded characters, especially the mage, will make a few puzzles a lot easier.
I didn’t found the graphics that bad – you always have to keep in mind that it is a PS3 game which has been released a few years ago.
What about trophies?
None of the trophies are story-related. All trophies are awarded for doing random stuff like beating a level with only one character of killing 3 frozen enemies within a second. So, if you’re playing this game just for trophies, you’re lucky as you only need to play half of the game – the last trophy can be earned in level 7. If you need help with the game’s trophies, check out this guide on psnprofiles.com.
Where can I get this game?
Trine 2 is only available digitally via the PSN store. As far as I know, the game is available in every region. If you need PSN cards, you can buy them here. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.
As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
Yes, the game is very easy and cheap when bought during a sale. You can easily beat it in 3-4 hours but keep in mind that there are 2-3 annoying trophies which might take a few tries.
